Authorization for the Retrieval and Verification of Data from the Electronic State Register of the Social Insurance Institute

We hereby inform you that Bank Jet Sh.A., based on your consent/authorization, retrieves data through electronic interaction with the Electronic Register of the Social Insurance Institute (“ISSH”), for the purpose of verifying your declared income and assessing your repayment capacity.

Why is this consent/authorization required and how will the data be used?

The authorization is required so that Banka Jet Sh.A., through electronic interaction, may verify your data with the Electronic Register of the Social Insurance Institute (“ISSH”), as part of the assessment of your loan application and your ability to meet any repayment obligations that may arise from the loan or credit card.

What is the legal basis for processing the data?

Banka Jet Sh.A. processes your data for the purpose of reviewing your application for credit and assessing your repayment capacity, in fulfillment of the Bank’s legal and regulatory obligations regarding the assessment of a borrower’s financial situation, credit risk management, and the retention of the relevant documentation.

This processing is based on Article 7, paragraph 1, letter “c” of Law No. 124/2024 “On Personal Data Protection”, Articles 56 and 61 of Law No. 9662, dated 18.12.2006, “On Banks in the Republic of Albania”, as amended, as well as Article 12 of Regulation No. 62/2011 of the Bank of Albania “On Credit Risk Management by Banks and Branches of Foreign Banks”, as amended.

Your data is also processed for the review of your application for credit prior to entering into the contract, in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 1, letter “b” of Law No. 124/2024.

The transmission of your personal identification number and the retrieval of data from the ISSH Electronic Register are carried out electronically through system interaction only after you have provided your authorization, in accordance with the above-mentioned legal provisions.

The authorization is specific, relates solely to the relevant loan or credit card application, and is used only to obtain the data necessary to verify your declared income and assess your repayment capacity. It does not grant the Bank general, unlimited, or recurring access to the ISSH Electronic Register.

What data may be processed?

From the ISSH Electronic Register, the Bank may retrieve only the data necessary to verify your declared income and assess your repayment capacity, including, where applicable:

• contribution month;
• contribution year;
• employer’s NIPT and name;
• contributory salary;
• social insurance contributions;
• health insurance contributions;
• supplementary contributions.

How long is the authorization valid?

The authorization is valid for a single retrieval and verification of data in connection with your current loan or credit card application.

It will not be used for another application or for retrieving new data from ISSH without your authorization, unless otherwise expressly permitted or required by applicable law.

How long will the data be retained?

The retrieved data will be retained as part of the documentation relating to your application and, if the loan or credit card is approved, as part of the loan file, for as long as required under applicable banking and financial legislation and the Bank’s data retention policies.

The retention of the data does not give the Bank the right to make new requests to ISSH outside the conditions of this authorization.

What happens if I do not provide authorization?

If you do not authorize the Bank, we will not retrieve your data from the ISSH Electronic Register.

As this verification is necessary for assessing your repayment capacity, the Bank will not be able to continue reviewing your loan application.

Providing authorization does not guarantee approval of the loan product.

How is my data protected?

Your data is processed in accordance with applicable legislation on personal data protection, banking secrecy, and professional confidentiality.

Jet Bank Sh.A. implements technical and organizational measures designed to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of the data and to prevent unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.

What are my rights?

You may request from Jet Bank Sh.A. access to your personal data, correction of such data if it is inaccurate or incomplete, as well as exercise any other rights provided under applicable legislation.

You may withdraw your authorization at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal, but it may make it impossible for the Bank to continue reviewing your loan application.

What do I declare and confirm?

By providing my consent through the Banka Jet Sh.A. application, I confirm that I have read and understood this information and authorize Banka Jet Sh.A. to retrieve and process my data from the ISSH Electronic Register solely for the purpose of verifying the income declared by me and assessing my repayment capacity in connection with my current loan application.
